The Eighteen Acre is open seven days a week 9am-5pm. With the exception of Friday where we have just launched a new wine bar which will stay open until 10.30pm (please see more details below). We require final food orders to be made by 4pm and final drink orders to be made by 4:45pm. Pre-orders available on request.
Our Shop is also open seven days a week 9am-5pm. We cannot sell any alcohol on a Sunday until 10am due to licencing laws. However, you are more than welcome to browse and ask advice.
The Eighteen Acre
We use as much locally sourced produce as possible as we like to support local businesses around us. This is reflected in the quality and prices that we charge.
We serve breakfast in The Eighteen Acre all day - occasionally when we get too busy, at the manager’s discretion, this will not be possible.
We have a range of daily specials available as well as a full menu with different lunch options.
We do have an additional charge for enjoying our wine on site but we hope that you enjoy the surroundings that you are drinking it in.
Our wine bar is open every Friday evening. We have a lovely balcony with views overlooking our Eighteen Acre field.
If you would like to enjoy a glass of wine and not worry about driving home you can leave your car on site, but please let a member of our staff know your registration. We do lock our gates overnight, so the earliest collection time would be 9.00am.

Children are welcome in our café at any time in fact we encourage this and provide some books and colouring sheets to keep them entertained.
We have a vineyard trail that is suitable for all ages - please ask one of The Eighteen Acre staff who can provide a map of the trail for free and an activity sheet for children who can collect animals as they walk around.
We do also accept children on our drop-on tour with no charge for ages 3 and below and a £3 charge for ages 4-17 (this price comes with a glass of juice whilst the tasting is taking place).
Unfortunately we run a strictly 18+ policy on all other tours as we have found that most guests prefer it this way. This also includes babies (unfortunately we cannot accept them on tours either).
Well behaved dogs on leads are more than welcome in The Eighteen Acre and if you need fresh water for them please ask one of our members of staff who will happily fill up one of our dog bowls.
We ask if you kindly only let dogs drink/eat out of a designated dog bowl.
We do not accept dogs on our tours due to hygiene and out of respect for other tour guests.
We accept dogs at our wine bar but they must remain outside on the balcony.
For our special events we ask that no dogs are brought along as these can be busy and potentially not the right environment for a dog.
Bookings can be made on line, either by using a voucher or by booking directly onto a tour.
We do sell vouchers through different third parties and we will ask who the supplier is before you enter any of your voucher details, so please do look at your voucher for the name of the supplier.

If you know which date you would like to attend but don’t have a voucher, you can book directly on to a tour without having to purchase a voucher.
We ask that you do not bring your own food or picnic on site as we have lovely facilities for you to purchase refreshments. Excluding baby food.
We have a fantastic range of extra events held here at the estate and hope that you take the time to come and enjoy what we have to offer. These range from our annual Christmas fayre, evening dinners, swing dancing with a DJ and tutored tastings to learn more about our fantastic wines.
We usually host an event on the first Friday of every month.

We have tours that run almost daily. These are at set times and we do require you to book on to them with full pre-payment. The maximum number of guests per tour is 32 and we do get booked up so the further in advance that you do this the better as it will avoid disappointment. Please see out tours page for more details about our different tour packages.
We have four different standard tours on which wine is served:
On the Drop-On Tour you consume approximately 75ml of wine.
On the Taster Tour you consume approximately 125ml of wine.
On the Afternoon Tea Tour you consume approximately 275ml of wine.
On the Grand Gourmet Tour you consume approximately 350ml of wine.
These measurements are approximate as we do free pour.
We do not advise drinking and driving (for those who are driving we do provide spitoons).
If you for any reason need to change the date of your tour then you can contact us free of charge to move it and you will receive a new confirmation letter. However, if it is within seven days of the tour then we do charge a £15 administration fee per couple as we will be unable to refill the space and food ordering and staffing will already be in place.
We run our tours come rain or shine. If the weather is unkind then we will just make sure you are not kept outside for too long - we do have a few umbrellas available, but suggest that you come well prepared.
Our cash vouchers can be used on-site in our shop and café. If you would like to use your voucher online then please call us during office hours (9am to 5pm Monday to Friday) or email email@example.com with your voucher details and we can then issue you with a discount code to use online.
We sell vouchers for all of our tours, apart from our drop-on tours.
You can either purchase an evoucher that will be emailed to you directly, or a physical voucher which we send to you first class. If you order on a Friday the this will be sent out on Monday. Please bear in mind, if this is for a gift then we are only as reliable as the Royal Mail postal service, but we will do our best to get your voucher to you on time.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months and the tour must be attended by the expiry date on the voucher.
We do send reminder emails for vouchers that are reaching their expiry date.
If you would like to extend your voucher then we over an extension plan, 1 month £10, 3 months £15, 6 months £20. This is to cover administration costs.

Our minimum numbers for private groups depend on when you are coming. During low season, i.e. October to April, our minimum booking is 10 guests. During high season, i.e. May to September, our minimum booking is 15 guests. For evening bookings there is a minimum number of 20 guests.
We try to cater for as many dietary requirements as we can and find this much easier if we know in advance.
Gluten free and vegetarian is not a problem. However, yeast-free and dairy-free are not always possible.

Due to the popularity of some of our wines we do sometimes sell out, so if you would like to be put on the waiting list for the next vintage release please contact email@example.com.
