  • Our opening hours for our Café are 9am – 5 pm – Monday & Tuesday for take away tea and coffee, and Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 5pm for our full menu (food service finishes at 3.30pm).
  • Throughout the Summer we will be open on Friday’s for drinks and nibbles until 8.30pm. Last orders at 8pm.
  • Our Shop is also open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm.
  • We cannot sell any alcohol on a Sunday until 10am due to licencing laws. However, you are more than welcome to browse and ask advice

Eighteen Acre Café

  • You can view our Menus here.
  • We don’t require you to book a table, but with social distancing measures now in place we are limited in how many people we can have in our shop and Café at a time, so we recommend you book you table beforehand to guarantee. Book your table now.
  • Currently we are only able to accept booking of up to 6 people. As the government have not given us confirmation of when the rule of 6 will be relaxed, we are not able to take bookings for groups larger than six at the moment.
  • If you have an dietary requirements, please make a note of any you or any member of your party has when making your booking and we will do our best to accommodate.


Wine Bar

  • We are not currently running any Wine Bar events. However we do have Tasting tables available in our shop. To book please call 01444 881 575.



  • Children are welcome in our café at any time.
  • We have a vineyard trail that is suitable for all ages – please ask one of Eighteen Acre team who can provide a map of the trail for free and an activity sheet for children who can learn about wildlife as they walk around. – This is currently unavailable
  • Unfortunately, we run a strictly 18+ policy on all other tours. This also includes babies.



  • Dogs on leads are more than welcome in our vineyard shop and outdoor seating areas at the Estate. If you are looking to dine from our Breakfast and Lunch menu, we have some dog friendly tables on our balcony overlooking the vineyard, please email to enquire about availability. We do not currently allow dogs in our indoor dining area, however in the event of poor weather, subject to availability, we will offer a table inside.



We have a lift up to our shop, café and tour areas. Our vineyard tours take place on a variety of terrains and uneven grounds, however there are no steps involved, other than to enter and exit the building where there is a lift.


  • We are now taking bookings for our tours again.
  • Bookings can be made online, either by using a voucher or by booking directly onto a tour.
  • We do sell vouchers through different third parties and we will ask who the supplier is before you enter any of your voucher details. If you’re unsure of the provider, please refer to your voucher which should say the name of the supplier.
  • For voucher bookings there is a step by step process of entering your voucher details and personal details in order for us to know when the voucher has been used. To redeem a tour voucher please click here.
  • If you know which date you would like to attend but don’t have a voucher, you can book directly on to a tour without having to purchase a voucher here.



  • We are not currently running events due to Covid-19 restrictions.
  • You can sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear about upcoming events and latest developments.



  • We have made changes to our tours during this time for your safety and the safety of our staff.

  • On the Cheese & Wine Tasting Tour (previously called Taster Tour) you consume approximately a ¼ bottle of wine.
  • On The Ultimate Wine & Food Tasting Tour (previously called Grand Gourmet Tour) you consume approximately a ½ bottle of wine.

*These measurements are approximate as we do free pour.

  • We do not advise drinking and driving (for those who are driving we do provide spitoons). If you wish to leave your car here over night, the estate is locked by 7pm every night and the gates will be reopened at 8.30am the next morning – please inform your tour guide if you plan to leave your car.
  • Minimum age is 18 (unfortunately, we cannot allow children on the tours).
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour is due to start.
  • Please let us know prior to your tour booking as to whether you have any dietary requirements. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer an alternative to the food matching plate. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience.
  • You do not need to bring your voucher with you, just sign in with your guide on arrival.
  • This experience should not be affected by the weather. If the vineyard tour is cancelled due to extreme adverse weather conditions, an alternative date will be offered to you.
  • Please wear sturdy footwear for the walk around the vineyard and suitable outerwear for the weather.
  • Need to make a change or cancel your booking? If you for any reason need to change the date of your tour then you can contact us free of charge to move it and you will receive a new confirmation letter. However, if it is within seven days of the tour then we do charge a £15 administration fee per couple (£10 for Taster Tours) as we will be unable to refill the space and food ordering and staffing will already be in place.



  • We run our tours come rain or shine. If the weather is wet we will just make sure you are not kept outside for too long. We do have a few umbrellas available, but suggest that you come well prepared. We may adjust our tour routes in poor weather conditions for your safety.


Cash Vouchers

  • Our cash vouchers can be used on-site in our shop and café or online.


Tour Vouchers

  • We sell vouchers for all of our tours, apart from our Drop On Tour.
  • You can either purchase an eVoucher that will be emailed to you directly, or a physical voucher which we send to you first class. If you order on a Friday the this will be sent out on Monday. Please bear in mind, if this is for a gift then we are only as reliable as the Royal Mail postal service, but we will do our best to get your voucher to you on time.
  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months and the tour must be attended by the expiry date on the voucher.
  • If you would like to extend your voucher then we offer an extension plan; 3 months £10, 6 months £15, 12 months £20. This is to cover administration costs.


Private Events

  • We are not currently running any private events however if you wish to hear details about our Christmas parties and upcoming virtual events please submit the form here.
  • If you would like to make a private event enquiry then please send an email to . We will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible. Our private event quotes are bespoke to each group.


Dietary Requirements

  • We try to cater for as many dietary requirements as we can and find this much easier if we know in advance.
  • Gluten free and vegetarian is not a problem. However, yeast-free and dairy-free are not always possible.
  • Please enquire with a member of staff to discuss.
