As the clocks prepare to spring forward and the first signs of the new season emerge, we’ve selected wines that perfectly complement the lighter, brighter days ahead.
The latest shipment includes our Founder’s Edition Blanc de Blancs 2018, a truly special release crafted to celebrate Bolney Wine Estate’s 50th anniversary. This premium sparkling wine, made from 100% Chardonnay sourced from a single vineyard, has undergone extended barrel ageing, followed by years of maturation in bottle. The result is a showstopping wine with extraordinary depth and richness – one of our most exclusive bottles to date.
Gold Members will also receive two outstanding wines from partner wineries – one from Spain's prestigious Priorat region and one from a Parker-point winning winery in Chile's Maule Valley.

Founder’s Edition Blanc de Blancs 2018 is an exquisite traditional method sparkling wine, made from 100% Chardonnay sourced from a single vineyard in an exceptional year for English wine. Partial oak barrel aged, this wine has spent three years in bottle on lees, released exclusively for our 50th celebrations.
Captivating apple, ripe pear, white peach and jasmine on the nose are reminiscent of heady summer evenings. With a lovely stream of lively fine bubbles, this wine offers pale lemon with buttery creamy notes on the palate. This wine is a showstopper.

A fresh and characterful wine with ripe but delicate toasty oak notes, warming spice with intricate red fruits. This Pinot Noir has stunning length and a long finish. From an exceptional year this is an iconic wine for Bolney that has plenty of life in it – for years to come.

Made in the Alsace style, the 2023 vintage of Bolney Pinot Gris displays aromas of honeyed pear, lemon sorbet and twisted grapefruit rind. On the palate more citrus along with passionfruit, pineapple and a subtle savoury note of fresh cut grass. The finish is pleasingly crisp and dry.

Partner Winery Wine • Crafted with Chile’s native flagship grape
Darker in colour (and more serious) than many País wines out there, this Chilean red has real depth , a concentrated red fruit character, floral highlights and loads of savoury complexity. Similar in style to Pinot Noir or Gamay, this is a fantastic wine to explore. The team at the Parker point-winning Garage Wine Co. is passionate about reviving old vineyards in marginalized Chilean communities to make highly-prized wines. The grapes were harvested using traditional ‘hand and horse’ methods, fermented with wild yeasts and matured over winter in old oak barrels, to soften the wine and add complexity without introducing the overt oak aromas and flavours imparted by newer barrels. This wine is delicious now but can also be cellared for up to 5 or 6 years for extra complexity.

This Decanter Bronze Medal Sauvignon Blanc offers classic gooseberry and elderflower flavours with a whisper of cut grass alongside hints of grapefruit, touches of lime and lemon sherbet. Smooth and well rounded with balanced acidity and a lingering finish. Reminiscent of a sunny day.

Partner Winery Wine • White Wine from Spain’s Prestigious Priorat region
Crafted using the White Garnacha grape grown on the Els Palells Estate vineyard, this upmarket Spanish white was partially fermented in oak, offering rich toasty notes alongside balanced acidity, stone fruit flavours and hints of cut grass. The Priorat region of Spain is better known for its powerful reds but this seductive wine is a fine example of just how nuanced and striking white Priorat can be when sensitively handled.
