Bolney Experience Tour & Tasting

Days: Daily (Monday – Sunday)
Times: 11am and 1pm
Duration: 3 hours

Join us at Bolney Wine Estate for the Bolney Experience Tour and Tasting, our most in-depth tour and tasting.

The experience begins with a guided tour of the wine estate and vineyard, followed by a tutored tasting of our English wines. Each wine is paired with food: a food-matching plate, a seasonal mezze board, and petits fours.

Terms and conditions

This event is for guests aged 18 years and over. Refunds are not available for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event, and a 25% fee applies for cancellations made less than 5 days prior.

This is your chance to stroll through the heart of our estate, walking right amongst the vines. You’ll discover the passion and expertise behind the cultivation of each grape and Bolney’s proud heritage of 50 years.

Then, see inside our state-of-the-art winery, opened by the Duchess of Cornwall in 2019. Here, you’ll learn from the expert winemakers themselves as they give incredible insight into the Bolney winemaking method, from careful grape selection all the way to bottling. You’ll discover just how we achieve the highest quality finished product every time.

Now you’ll get to see exactly what our expert manufacturing process creates as you sample five of our award-winning wines. Each tasting will be a guided experience with expert insight, with thoughtful food pairings that bring out the best in each wine.

When is the Best Time for a Tour?

Our main tour season is February – October with late summer/early autumn being a great time to visit to experience the harvest season. We do have some dates available in November, December, and January.

 

Do You Cater For Different Dietary Requirements?

We are committed to providing an accessible experience that allows everyone to enjoy our food and wine tasting tours. Please contact us for queries about dietary requirements. You can call us on 01444711722 or email [email protected].

 

How Much Wine Will I Be Served on a Tour?

Typically, you’ll be served the equivalent of ½ a bottle of wine, including your welcome glass. This is an approximation, though, as we do free-pour.

 

What Can I Do After the Tour?

You’re welcome to stay at Bolney Wine Estate after your tour has finished, with our Eighteen Acre Café and Restaurant providing the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine with a breathtaking view. Do You Have a Shop at the Estate?

Our estate does include a superb cellar door shop, stocking fresh local produce as well as our Bolney Wines. You can browse our premium range of award-winning English Wines, including sparkling wines, red wines, and white wines.
