From Saturday 20 to Sunday 28 June 2026, we’re marking English Wine Week at Bolney with a special programme of events. Visit our West Sussex vineyard for chef-led dining, vineyard picnics, a sunset evening and a hands-on blending masterclass, with guided tours and lunch at the café all week.

Bolney is the place to discover English wine this June. One of England’s pioneering vineyards, we’ve been making wine on the chalk and sandstone of the South Downs since 1972. The bottles we’re pouring this week are the ones we’re proudest of: traditional-method English sparkling wines, hand-picked from our own slopes and aged on lees in our cellars.

Book a guided tour, stop for lunch at the café, or drop in for a glass on the terrace. Our Sussex vineyard is yours to explore this English Wine Week.

A six-course tasting menu for English Wine Week, cooked by our Executive Chef with fresh local produce and ingredients from our own kitchen garden. Each course is paired with one of our award-winning English wines. Limited spaces.

Spend a summer afternoon among the vines at Bolney with a picnic hamper for two. Sandwiches and sweet treats inspired by a classic afternoon tea, with the option to add a bottle of Bolney Bubbly. Available throughout English Wine Week.

Blending Experience

Saturday, 27 June 2026 · 2pm – 3.30pm

A hands-on blending masterclass at Bolney, especially for English Wine Week. Taste a selection of base wines, then work with the Bolney team to create your own blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Gris — and find out how grape varieties, vineyard parcels, and blending choices shape how the wine tastes in your glass.

Our Sussex vineyard sits at Bolney, near Haywards Heath, around an hour from London and about 30 minutes from Brighton. On a guided vineyard tour, you’ll walk the vines with one of our team, discover how our English sparkling wine is made, and finish with a tasting of Bolney wines.

Lunch at the Café

No booking needed. Our café serves a seasonal lunch menu built around fresh, local produce, with our English wines available by the glass and the bottle. Or enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace with views of an 18-acre vineyard. Dogs are welcome on the terrace too!
