Sam Linter appointed as Wine GB Director

This is a wonderful recognition of Sam’s dedication to the English Wine Industry, in which she has played a key part since the early 90s. She has also previously led the Wine GB export committee since it was first formed, helping to take English wine to new markets.

It is great to see another female Director in place and further highlights the growing female presence in the English Wine Industry which is inspiring news for Women in Wine.

Sam is pleased to have been awarded the position and said:

‘I have always believed in the importance of collaboration between the English and Welsh Vineyards and Wineries. Together over the years, members of Wine GB have collectively strived to raise awareness of our product and show the world what fantastic wines we are capable of producing. As someone who has been involved in this industry from its infancy I am honoured to have accepted this role’.
