Bolney awarded National Spirit of Family Business award 2020

Last night, Family Business United hosted their annual Family Business of the Year Awards 2020. This year was a little different as the live awards were hosted virtually, but it was a brilliant evening nonetheless.
Here at Bolney we are passionate about what we do, and it’s so special to us when this is recognised by others too. We are absolutely delighted to have won the National Spirit of Family Business award, as well as to be named one of the top three regional Family Businesses of the Year in London and the South East!
Talking about the reasons behind awarding us the Spirit of Family Business Award, Paul Andrews, CEO of Family Business United, said:

A third-generation family firm based in the heart of Sussex with family guiding the business with passion, dedication and expertise. The broader team, together with the family, work hard to make it a great place to work, a great place to visit, and have ambitious plans for the future.
They’ve been guided by nature since 1972 and really do make the most of their story, their heritage and the natural beauty of the estate where they’re based. Since the beginning they’ve rolled up their sleeves, they’ve got their hands dirty and they’ve not been afraid to fail. Their sheer determination and will to succeed, dictated by the climate and the terrain, has shown they really are guided by nature.
Passionate, pioneering, with a strong commitment to support the local community, this is a family within a family business.
Having started as a family firm back in 1972, it’s important to them that they continue to grow, that they remain as a close, hard-working team who invest in the journey together and feel the same passion and drive that there was when the business began. They work hard to ensure that this is a great place to work and are really proud of their roots and they do like to share their story far and wide.
