As we near the end of 2020, we wanted to take a look back at some of the positive things we have celebrated this year and say a huge thank you to every single person who has supported us throughout. We enjoyed seeing you all in person when we were able, and virtually when we were not. Join us below as we explore a year of Bolney.
We connected with our local community
As 2020 became a rather different year to usual, we worked hard to offer something to help with these strange times. A particular customer favourite were our picnic boxes, which many of you enjoyed nestled amongst our vines.
We raised a glass with you and said ‘cheers’ to mark The Big English Wine Good Friday and English Wine Week. Both The Big English Wine Good Friday and English Wine Week was all about celebrating the great, award-winning wine that England and Wales are producing.
We went virtual
So many of you have connected with us and your loved ones for our virtual wine tastings. We hope you’ve had as much fun as we have going from amateur to connoisseur!
We made wine!
In a year where so much has changed, one thing that has stayed the same at Bolney is our incredibly hardworking and dedicated team. The grapes have continued to grow, and harvest 2020 was a huge success. Watch this space for the much anticipated release of our 2020 vintages.
We launched a new range
Our new everyday occasions range and hampers collection brought all our favourite wine, spirits and food together with the perfect pairings so you could enjoy precious time with your loved ones, both in person and virtually.
We won prestigious medals and awards
This year our wines and spirits have won a plethora of medals, including 2 gold medals and 9 silver medals. We were also delighted to win the National Spirit of Family Business and to be named one of the top three family businesses of the year in the South East.
