We run two main tours that comprise everything you could want from an English vineyard and wine tasting. Located right by the South Downs in West Sussex, Bolney Wine Estate has south-facing slopes and Upper Tunbridge Wells Greensand. This allows good heat retention and excellent drainage, two reasons among many that make our wines so good.

When you visit our vineyard, you get to see up close the care and passion that goes into our vine cultivation. As a working vineyard, visiting Bolney gives you the chance to embark on a truly immersive journey from grape to glass that gives you a unique insight into how wine is made. This opens you up to a new appreciation of wines as you uncover industry secrets and proper tasting techniques.

Our Eighteen Acre Café lets you relax and enjoy breakfast or lunch with stunning views across the vineyards. Our chefs lovingly prepare dishes with seasonal ingredients from local suppliers for you to enjoy with a glass (or two) of Bolney wine. From light bites to full mezze boards, you’ll find the Café a perfect place to catch up with friends or enjoy some quiet time with some exquisite wine.

We are located 10 miles south of Crawley on the A23. Our nearest mainline train stations are Haywards Heath or Burgess Hill (both about 15 minutes by taxi).

We do not advise drinking and driving. For those driving, we provide spittoons. However, you can leave your car here overnight if you wish; please just let your tour guide know if you plan to do so. The estate is locked by 6 pm every night and the gates will be reopened at 8.30 am the next day.
