The Taste of Sussex presents a unique opportunity to explore England’s burgeoning reputation for world-class winemaking. Our new campaign spotlights Sussex as an unmissable wine destination while showcasing Bolney Wine Estate’s 50+ year history of cultivating exceptional wines that capture the essence of this region.

Sussex wines are now gaining global recognition, and our Taste of Sussex campaign takes you on a journey to uncover the distinct characteristics that set them apart. From our diverse vineyard sites to the skilled winemaking techniques we employ, discover the story behind each bottle and the dedication that goes into producing wines that truly represent our country’s unique identity.

We also welcome you to join our exciting new Wine Club, where you will receive quarterly shipments, access to exclusive events and limited-release wines, and countless offers.

We’re about 14 miles from Brighton and Hove near the tumbling green hills of the South Downs. Our two main tours are the Ultimate Wine and Food Tasting Tour and the Sussex Cheese and Wine Tasting Tour.

Both tours will pair your group with a dedicated Bolney Wine Estate guide who will give you a unique insight into our craft. You’ll get to explore the very heart of the estate, with a stroll through the vines that lets you see the grape varieties we grow up close. Then, marvel at our state-of-the-art winery as you get exclusive access to the impressive technical feat of fine winemaking.

Then, the main event: a fully immersive wine tasting experience of five distinctive wines proudly made here. Your guide will expertly take you through each wine, helping you to get the most out of each. Whether you’re a seasoned wine specialist or a complete novice, your experience will be rewarding and delicious.

We are accessible from London, located 10 miles south of Crawley on the A23. Our nearest mainline train stations are Haywards Heath or Burgess Hill (both about 15 minutes by taxi).

We do not advise drinking and driving. For those driving, we provide spittoons. However, you can leave your car here overnight if you wish; please just let your tour guide know if you plan to do so. The estate is locked by 6 pm every night and the gates will be reopened at 8.30 am the next day.
