It tastes good. And it also does good! Sapling is a climate positive brand. They don’t just offset their carbon output, they actually decrease it. For every bottle sold they plant a tree which will soak up about 535 times the carbon used to produce a bottle. Which really does leave a good taste in the mouth.

I consider myself to be somewhat of an authority on wine and spirits, as I'm highly qualified in the subject and have over 25 years of experience in the trade.

I thought I'd tasted all styles of vodka, including other wheated rectified spirits, but the Sapling is a new one on me! Crystal Head Aurora is based on Yorkshire wheat, but the Sapling has a flavour profile unlike any other.

Full bodied, sweet (but not in a cloying way) with a depth that even shines through with a mixer. This has length like a fine wine offers.

Highly recommended, unusual and eco-friendly. What's not to like?
