We've put together the perfect selection of wines for food-pairing, ideal for any dinner party big or small!
Here is a description of the wines which make up your case:
This is a fine, vintage sparkling wine made from the classic Champagne varietals – 70% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier. Delightful floral and brioche notes combine with zesty apple and citrus fruit, fresh and clean with a vibrant finish. Makes a great aperitif or serve with a starter of smoked salmon or smoked trout pâté.
Notes of red fruits and a hint of leather lead through to juicy plum and berry flavours together with soft tannins make this a very elegant easy drinking wine. Medium bodied dry red wine. Serve with a blue or goat's cheese tart.
An excellent example of a cool climate Pinot Noir, well balanced, it has soft tannins and juicy strawberry and red cherry on the palate. Leather, spice and chocolate complement fresh plums and a smooth and creamy finish. Serve with roast pork or a delicate duck disk.
This complex Bacchus marries classic elderflower and gooseberry, with savoury notes of white pepper and citrus undertones for a floral finish. This rounded vintage is ideal for ageing. Serve with white fish, or asparagus.
Medium-bodied and smooth, plenty of fresh pear along with citrus and honeysuckle. Fresh finish with some grassy notes. Serve with tiger prawns or sushi.
Blanc de Noirs
A very stylish vintage, traditional method, quality sparkling wine. Lots of stone fruit character, notes of honey and pear. A good balance of sweetness and acidity with a lovely length. Serve with a classic cheeseboard or cherry and dark chocolate marquise.
