Truffles • Blueberries • Red fruit

A broad and complex palate. Full-bodied, with depth and concentration, fine tannins and a firm backbone of acidity. It is powerful and structured yet open; notes of wild bramble, herbs and spice end with a long, intense finish.

I bought one bottle of this wine on spec on my last visit. It really is very good. If you like full-bodied Spanish reds of the Rioja or Navarra type then try this one. The taste is rich vanilla and oak and something like dark chocolate. It’s also a little unusual. One would obviously expect that familiar Rioja taste but there’s far more going on.
