Attended a tasting late last year in the Cotswolds (Broadway) - this outshone the Bubbly and the Pinot Gris by a big margin. As good as, if not better than, NZ/Australian whites in terms of nose, freshness, zing and sheer enjoyability, at this price point. Remember also that you're not paying an importer a huge % of the bottle cost in order to get it here (i.e. more of your £ goes on the quality of the wine). Try it; if you like good quality quaffable white, this is a winner.
I was lucky enough to try this at a recent tasting. England has found a good alternative to sauvignon blanc with bacchus - this example has gooseberry and passionfruit flavours and a nice long finish. I'll certainly try it again
