Whilst many things may have slowed down over the past few months, here at Bolney our vines are growing fast and it's so exciting to see all our different varieties blooming. The vines are now well established with 2-3 leaves clearly visible on all varieties, and 3-4 leaves on the Rondo vines, with inflorescenses (a cluster of flowers on the vine) clearly visible. 

Our vineyard team are working hard to care for our vines and they are currently removing any unwanted shoots, mostly round the base, which is back breaking work but important to ensure they continue to grow well!

They are also keeping the grass cut and the vineyard tidy, and watching the overnight temperatures very closely in case the frost decides to make another appearance.
